Behind the Bar
City Dog Cantina runs a full liquor bar at both Tampa locations, Kennedy Blvd in Channelside and Rome Ave in West Tampa. Whatever you're drinking, it's poured alongside the full menu, tacos and burritos included.

The tap list leans the way a cantina's should, with Modelo Especial, Pacifico, and Corona in rotation, plus Cigar City Jai Alai IPA from up the road, Guinness Stout, Smithwicks Irish Ale, Stella Artois, Kona Big Wave, Reef Donkey, Goose Island IPA, Fat Tire, Yuengling, and Lagunitas IPA. Bottles and cans add Negra Modelo, Abita Purple Haze, Bell's Oberon, Bell's Two Hearted, Chimay, Dos Equis, and La Fin Du Monde.
Two House Cocktails
The Dog ($10.50) is the one to know: iced espresso, milk, Patron XO Cafe, Bailey's, and M Brizard chocolate liqueur. The Sea Dog Torpedo ($10.50) goes a different direction with Baileys, Kahlua, Grand Marnier, Amaretto, and vanilla rum cream over coffee.
What to Eat With It
Tacos are the obvious move: steak $14, chicken $13.75, or potato $12, two flour tacos with red bells, onions, avocado, lettuce, and cheese. Fish or shrimp tacos run $16. If the table is sharing, spicy guacamole with chips and salsa is $13, and the Rollin Nolan Nachos are $17.
Happy Hour on Rome Ave
Monday through Thursday the Rome Ave location runs happy hour twice: 4 PM to 6 PM and again from 9 PM until close. $5 drafts and $2 off well drinks.
